A newspaper staff writer’s life is measured in terms of deadlines. Having the story assignments turned in to the editor on time, error free and ready for print are the basic requirements. He first crafted his writing skills and later moved to the editing side before taking on new frontiers in the corporate world of promotional and technical writing and editing.  Needless to say, Starr knows how to produce great stories under tight deadlines. Below are a few writing samples from Starr’s newspaper days.
