The next step for the Town in adopting Dane County’s new TDR sending district overlay is passage by the Town Plan Commission at a September 19 meeting at 6:30 p.m. The proposal will be on the Town Board’s agenda for a 7 p.m. meeting that same day. Town Chairman and Plan Commission member Kris Hampton said he explained how the district would work at the last Plan Commission meeting and members seemed okay with the program.
The county TDR-S overlay district would designate the entire Town as a sending district within Dane County. This would not interfere with the Town's existing sending and receiving districts.
